1. Obama got 38% Iowa and 37% New Hampshire
given the college kids didn't show up in comparable numbers: Obama got effectively the same result

Edwards had 30% in Iowa and 17% in New Hampshire. Looks like Edwards hurt Edwards not Obama.

Do you have any facts to support your claim?

8. He could have done both, but the numbers can't prove it
But Edwards never had the support in NH that he had in Iowa. He did not spend the same amount of time there in either 2004 or 2008.

In fact, you could make the case that he got 12% last time and 17% this time in NH; while it was 32%(2004) to 30% (2008) in Iowa.

10. By hurt, I meant that it cost Obama the victory. I re-phrased. nm

12. Please remind what accomplishments Obama
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 12:26 PM by NYCALIZ
has that should have led to Obama's victory?

I know he talks pretty but can you list any accomplishments or risks he's taken.

Maybe New Hampshire is more skeptical of a saleman?

4. How does that even make sense?
This Edwards pile-on is really sickening.

5. Edwards never polled high in N.H.
He did not poll as high as his highest poll, but he polled considerably higher than his lowest poll. He did well for Edwards in N.H.

Hillary did much worse than her highest N.H. polling. Hillary lost votes since October.

Obama did better than his lowest polling. Obama won votes, lots of them, since October.

6. You may be right if the pundits are right about the sympathy factor
HRC herself attacked Obama as hard or harder than he attacked her. It was the fact that it was seen as Obama and Edwards attacking that might have made it seem unfair.

7. No, I don't think so. Because there is a bit of a small problem
with your deduction. John Edward's message, no matter what it is, receives very little play time. There must be another factor. Give it another think through!

11. Blaming Edwards for your candidates loss?
Ok. Can I blame last nights third place finish on Chris Dodd or Joe Biden?

Who cares that they aren't in the race. I'm using your own logic of blaming everyone else for a loss.

If Edwards attacking Hillary hurt anyone, it was himself.

Not Obama. Obama is capable of speaking for himself, and he did.

I've always held the position Hillary was going to win New Hampshire, up until last week. She's got a strong base there. And it looks like they came out to vote!!
