Apparently New Hampshire is a neighbor state to New York.
Maureen Dowd is an astute and fair analyst of Democrats

Exit polls are worthless.

Things I've "learned" on DU today.

7. Yes, and that is an important distinction.
Exit polls aren't always reliable. Sometimes they're right, sometimes they're not. Ones with solid methodology and execution are very reliable, although not infallible. Ones with weaker methodology or flawed execution sometimes arrive at the right result, but usually are wrong.

3. You know, I'm so alienated from Clinton
that when a headline said 'Senator from NY' (where I live), I thought, Damn, who's running from NY?

5. Where does that border state thing come from?
I keep seeing it repeated no matter how many times it is corrected. Oh, right.

Congrats, rinsd :hi:

9. No idea...
I didn't understand Iowa & Illinois being neighbor states either even though they border each other. Is it just name recognition from media spillover?

Thanks for the congrats. And good luck for the rest of the race! :hi:

6. And, don't forget - Iowa is representative of every other state in the country!
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 03:16 PM by TwilightZone
Learned that one last week. It is a perfectly accurate representation of every other state in the country.

A self-described "political expert" told me that one, so it must be true.

8. Interesting. I read on a map yesterday that NH was in Canada.
I had hopes of voting, but somebody straightened me out...

10. I heard that NH really had a caucus, but it was secret so that
Hillary could steal the state.
