Speaking of crying jags...
In all the tear-gate retrospection, nobody on TV wanted to talk about Bob Dole. I guess because he's a war hero or something...

Bob Dole, the tested tough-guy we were encouraged to vote for in 1996 because America just wasn't safe with Bill Clinton, has a long history of going into actual hysterics in public... shuddering, debilitating weeping fits. They are so bad the TV people are embarrassed to show them much.

He had to be physically held up by people and led away when he broke-down at Nixon's funeral.

I reapeat... at Nixon's funeral.
