Do you ever think that you are watching the WWF when you tune into CNN...

I mean really, the political coverage from the self proclaimed best political team is long on special effects and short on actual coverage...

It's so scripted, so canned that when something goes wrong, well, the boss shows up to kick some ass.. (Lou Dobbs as the sane member of that "team"... Yeeeshh CNN viewers are in for a treat there....)

Anyway, the coverage over to MSNBC is just as ridiculous and no I haven't even ventured over to fox, can't do it, won't do it...

Perhaps they should just adopt the WWF model and start playing let's get ready to rumble...

And the politicians and their "professional" handlers play right into that pile of intellectually stunted crap that is the cable news wasteland...

Well, competition in the media has surely resulted in the lowest common denominator...

Oh well, I guess if we are going to live in a competitive society where the market always dictates the outcome, we reap what we have sown...

Jesus Christ, we know Hillary can, contrary to popular belief, cry and we know Edwards is an angry populist and we know that Obama wants change and presents himself in a Kennedyesque manner....

I guess that those who relies on Cable News coverage at least know that...

But health care, not so much...

And don't even get me started on Pakistan or China...

Where, in god's name, does that leave the country...

Have they no sense of responsibility...

Have they no idea what they are doing to the United States...

I am so miffed by all of this that I would trade Walter Winchell at his worst for Anderson Copper any day...

I made the same comparison to a friend when mentioning DU the other day. :-)
