Carville memo to Clinton: Come out fighting.
Come out fighting

MANCHESTER, N.H. – James Carville, Bill Clinton’s former political strategist, has written a one-page memo to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and her aides urging that she come out of the New Hampshire primary with a fighting message that she is bouncing back from her Iowa loss and will challenge Senator Barack Obama in state after state with an inspirational message of change and readiness for the presidency.

Mr. Carville declined to provide a copy of the memo tonight, but several advisers who had read the memo said that it did not recommend any surprising changes in strategy. They said Mr. Carville did not suggest skipping any key state nominating contests, such as Nevada and South Carolina, but these advisers added that no final decisions have been made about the game plan in those states.

...."If the president said to me, ‘look old pal, we really need you to come on board, he and I and the senator would have that conversation,’” Mr. Carville said. “But I haven’t had a single conversation with anyone in the campaign about coming in and working in a formal way on the campaign.”

Another former political aide to Mr. Clinton, Doug Sosnik, is also expected to join in the post-primary conference call, advisers say.

A hint to Hillary. Bringing Carville on board would be about the most divisive thing you could ever do. He crossed too many bridges with many of us last November, and he involved you in it.

Carville says Clintons did not tell him to stop attacks on Dean

What about the Clintons, who, given Hillary’s presidential ambitions, have more cause for concern about who runs the DNC in 2008? “Let’s just say nobody has called me telling me this is a bad idea. Sometimes silence is eloquence.”

2. With Richardson gone by today!

Its a free shot now for Hilary in Nevada, i think they've got him to move out of the way in Nevada by making a deal.

I honestly feel like Richardson will have a fair shot at the VP position. Hilary needs a Southwestern big hitter to balance her ticket and a governor to boot, it ticks all the boxes, not to mention latino heritage. It would also rebuke any racism charge against not picking Obama for the VP slot.

If she did that, Florida is in the bag, so is Nevada, and a whole slew of southern states come into play, they are not daft you know.

For me, the VP slot for Clinton is either Richardson or Biden or someone very popular from southern states.

3. Sounds like he's "informally" already with her campaign.
Which is just too much for me. I have seldom had an actual gripe about Hillary. It is those who surround her.
