Is it true that out of all the candidates in Iowa and NH that Obama

was the only one, Dem or Repug, that used fully scripted speeches and teleprompters for the concession/celebration after the caucus/primary winners had been called?

1. McCain read his speech as well.And Obama can't speak as well unless it is "scripted"

13. He has a writer, but that doesn't relate to your second question.

All major candidates have speech-writers. They didn't always. Obama has begun using one during this race.

Speeches and debates are very different creatures. Oratory is created and crafted, while debates are obviously extemporaneous. You can't really compare one to the other, they are a separate skill set.

16. Another reason that bothers me

The debate thing, he's never held himself up in speeches he stutters and goes off when he has no idea what he's talking about, I noticed it on Saturday. If he can't do debates but only scripted stuff, thats trouble. They'll chew him up and spit him out in long one on one debates.
