Hardball: He compares "women" and "African American" like all "women" are white
I'm watching a rerun of what I think was his second show tonight, and I've yet to hear Matthews or any guests (all white women and African American males) break down the NH women's vote by race. Once again in popular discourse, it's like Black women are invisible. Does anyone have a cross tab of how they voted, particularly if they went in undecided? Did the post-40 crowd of African American women also tend to vote for Hilary? I just wish once someone would bring up that point.

1. In NH, all women are white
or at least something like 95% of them are.

2. at the risk of sounding rude,
What would be their sample base for the post-40 African American women who voted for Hillary in New Hampshire? A grand total of 2 in the whole state (isn't NH about 97% white as it is?). Excuse my dumb question if you were being subtly sarcastic; I can be dense without the proper emoticon.:+

No, I wasn't being sarcastic. I take your point. (I'm in NC.) But they kept talking about how African Americans support or don't support Obama, vs. women, eliding I suppose statistics in other states with voting behavior in NH. I just hope they start to break out the vote and also clarify their terminology, breaking down the men's vote too, when they talk about it.

3. Moving on...
NH is hardly the place to sample the ethnic breakdown of women in regards to Primary voting. That is coming now that we are moving on to other States.

Don't worry, Black women will make their voices heard loud and clear. Whether some vote for Hillary or Obama...you'll know. That is, if the media cares to cover it.

One thing someone stated is very true, we tend to be invisible in this society.

America needs to wake up!
