Kerry Stand w Obama: The price Hillary will pay for slimy personal attacks
and missrepresentations that have become a central feature of her campaign.

I am sure Bill's use of the "fairytale" ad hominen and other sneeky efforts reminded Kerry of
the endless twisting and falsifying of his positions and smearing of his
character that the Republicans engaged it. I must be ghastly to watch Hill and Bill
engage in the same tactics.

5. Don't forget Hillary's coming to Kerry's defense regarding the "botched joke."

Oh, I'm sorry! She didn't defend Kerry, but took the opportunity to try and bury him.

Shout out to blm for this video clip from Larry King Live:

6. Clinton's first public appearence, after open heart surgery, 8 days
after open heart surgery, was on behalf of Kerry.

9. my dad had open heart surgery twice
the first time he was hospitalized for an entire month. The second time he was home, but severely laid up by day 8. In both cases he was younger than Clinton was when he had his.

2. This hurts Edwards more than Clinton.
At least, that's my first reaction to the news.

I worked in the national Kerry campaign HQ in DC during
the 2004 election, and I observed extremely cordial interaction
with the Clintons.

3. I think that reflects on the campaign
I don't know them to be anything but cordial to most people.

8. I agree- Edwards is badly hurt by this endorsement.
For Kerry to snub his VP choice for a young upstart is really a slap in Edwards face.

4. I agree.
I think Kerry remembers, more than anyone else, how divisive politics hurt the Democrats and the country.

I think he put his support to Obama because he sees that he will take the party and country in a better direction; and the Clintons will keep us divided.

14. Wrong
He offered his support to Obama now because it was a last-ditch effort to have relevance in this election. Waiting until it was settled and endorsing the nominee, while probably proper, would have been irrelevant. Endorsing Edwards would have been just another personal defeat for Kerry, and endorsing Hillary would have been playing second fiddle. By endorsing BO, he gets to appear as the elder statesman passing the torch to the younger generation, and will claim partial credit for the boost BO is sure to get this week, and he gets more love from the "cool kids" crowd.

This has far more to do with Kerry's ego than him caring about the success of the Democratic Party.

11. Hell that attack by the swift boat people went unanswered by
Kerry. Kerry told us all he would be a fighter and fight for us, but he did not....

This to me is a slap in the face to Edwards. I thought Kerry would of at least had the common decency if he were not going to endorse Edwards would of not endorsed anyone...but then again I guess if you call on a friend to help you carry carry a blue state that you should be winning easily but was tied with a republican and that friend showed up and made his first appearance after heart surgery and that friend from all indicators helped you carry Pa. one might think Kerry would consider the wife of that friend...but then again I am never surprised by Kerry....oh and we all know to whom I say was the friend. uh huh Bill Clinton. date October 25th 2004 Philadelphia

13. I think it was those misrepresentations that made him come out also
When Bill started talking about the fairytale and Obama's statement regarding his war vote I immediately thought about Kerry. Obama had stated numerous times that the reason he said what he did because he didn't want to appear to be undermining the new nominee, Kerry.

Bill knew this but still decided to use this to attack Obama.
