The numerous posts on the subject by Katzenkavalier; I hope that similar threads are restarted, maybe one or two a day, COMPARING HRC to Obama (and possibly Edwards too) on issue by issue.

Even though HRC (supposedly) won the NH primary, exit polls suggested that OVERWHELMINGLY Democratic voters thought Obama would be harder to beat in November. Hey -- being real, that alone is a pretty strong reason to support him for the nomination.

Plus, he seems for MANY reasons likely to make a better president -- particularly looking at thoughtfulness, willingness to forge new international policy rather than simply 'go with the flow' within the US power elite, a combination of a progressive mindset with a sense of pragmatism and realism. These things indicate much MORE than the platforms of HRC and Obama, especially as there aren't glaring differences.

Q -- why doesn't Obama put greater stress on VASTLY changing our "free" trade policy from the Clintonian/Bush approach. It certainly could help win more votes, especially from former Edwards people.

Great to see more unions lining up behind Obama ....

Getting within 1.5% of the Clinton 25% lead a month ago in New Hampshire is indeed a reason to know we're getting right where we need to be.
