Anybody want to wager we will see our first Super Bowl campaign commericals.

Even if it is $1 million a min it is probably more efficient then buying adds in each market individually. 22 states and all the big media markets fall on the same day.

3. Don't they have a policy about advocacy commercials ?
I'm not sure if political ads would fall under that, but I remember a big stink when they banned a PETA commercial a few years back stating the policy.

As it turned out PETA got way more publicity for that campaign, and didn't have to spend a nickel.

I can only speak for my husband, but if he sees a political ad during the Super Bowl, he will Elvis the t.v.

4. It's not a policy. It's a "policy".
When they don't like the commercial, it's "against policy," which they make up on the fly.

5. It is ADS not ADDS
I can't believe how many don't know the difference between an ADvertisment and to ADD a number.

9. That would fail. Unless there was a gimmick
You'd need Terry Tate, Office Linebacker, to come out of nowhere and tackle a lobbyist or something.

Or talking animals.
