Or will he still go on to Super Tuesday? I mean, he would have 2 wins, to her 4. At what point is he beyond help, and would then pull out. I'm saying it will happen, I'm simply asking to see where people stand on how much a person has to lose until they should drop out.

and even then, if it's still mathematically possible to win, they'll be in it till the convention. This is particularly true because, of the next four elections, two of them have had their delegates stripped by the DNC. Michigan and Florida don't count for anything except headlines.

13. But what powerful headlines they'll be
The perception will be that HRC will be unstoppable with the 2 big state wins, and hence all of the money and momentum will be in her court.

15. Assuming HRC wins both Michigan and Florida, that is...
and also assuming that each and every story about those wins doesn't come with the caveat that they're meaningless -- this being the first time that's happened, that novel story angle is likely to get over-reported.

That said, I do agree that the winner of Florida, especially, will likely get a nice bounce going into Feb. 5.

3. They're both in until at least Super Tuesday.
Everything's way too up in the air at this point, and it's still anybody's game, so to speak. They should at least go through Super Tuesday, and then I think we'll have a clearer indication of who the likely nominee will be.

5. Edwards is in until ST too
It would just be goofy for any of the top three to drop out before then. Over 2000 delegates are elected on that day!

If Obama wins SC, he's in it with just as good a shot as Hillary. He will take Illinois on 2/5 and has a great shot at taking Cali. Hillary will probably take both NY and NJ. Then what does it come down to? Whats the next big state? Ohio?

Clinton and Obama could be in it til March 4th, where both Ohio and Texas have their primaries.

9. It's about delegates...Edwards has 18, Hillary 24, Obama 25 - Gezz ...Do you get your info like 70%

of the others e around here, from republican owned news pushing Obama & Hillary?

Is it republican owned Time-Warner(CNN) that you watch, or is it Viacom (CBS) how about Disney (ABC) no, than General Electric ((NBC, MSNBC), I know it ultra right-wing Rupert Murdoch channel (Fox)...All huge contributor to the republican party, with republican CEO and editors...

Edward is going to the convention....If he can pick up the kind of money Obama & Hillary have and are spending he'll win.

Obama spend over nine million in Iowa and Edwards is able to spend seven million....If you say it doesn't make a difference, than why in the fuck is Obama spending almost ten million dollars in such a tiny state?

It's about delegates....Edwards has 18, Hillary 24, Obama 25...GET IT, YET?

10. You're asking in the wrong place.
Ask the Obama camp.

I believe that both Obama and HRC have declared that they are in until Feb. 5 -- and that they both have the money to stay in.

It would be nice if there were still a race when most of the U.S. has a chance to vote or caucus -- actually, it would be nice if all states had a vote. Neither watching from the sidelines nor volunteering and politicking in a state where one cannot oneself vote seems like an acceptable alternative to actually having a voice in the issue of who gets to run.

Of course, it would also be nice if there were voting systems in place by November that ensured that we all had a voice that would be heard in the general election, too.

took back congress, "Duh, there's no electronic voting machine problems"...

Even through republicans stole congressional races all over the country in 2006, and their losses would of been a lot larger if the republicans didn't hack & steal those races.

As the republicans laugh and over 80% of America vote on republican corporations owned and very easily hackable machines, and they own the proprietary software!

It was the republicans who made sure of this when they wrote and passed the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) in 2002!
