Eh, he's entitled to his opinion, isn't he? All he's done is disagree with you, and expressed that.

But that's what she gets, I think, for playing the gender card.

By in large the media does not like Hillary.

They know her better than we do.

That should tell you something.

21. they don't know her at all
but they do try and mold her into the preconceived belief, the caricature, they made of her on-sight in 1991 and decided to sell. But they fail spectacularly. Eventually, you think they'd realize she ISN'T the witch or harpy or harridan or calculating Lady MacBeth or whatever in the hell it is they think she is.

Doubt it, though.

Oh you're right.

Its silly to think that thousands of DC reporters having covered her and her husband for the last 17 years dont know her any better than you or I do just watching them on TV.

What was I thinking?

31. so, are we to trust the Press or not trust them?
I get so confused sometimes.

Dealing with and having friends who deal with the Press (and in a couple cases have dealt with them for decades), I know for a fact that a reporter or the Press "covering" someone for umpteen years doesn't mean they know them or even report accurately the events of their lives. Someone willing to believe what they read about someone really does deserve a President with a charming smile and sweet sounding rhetoric one needs boots to wade through.

But the Press being accurate about someone they despise? Sure.

Only a sweet innocent would believe that. O8)

37. Staged? No, not quite.
I believe it was one of those brilliant, organic campaign moments that can change a candidate's future. A candidate is every second analyzing their actions and choosing their words and actions--but that doesn't mean that everything they do is staged, either. After all, if the woman who prompted her had asked a different question--as she might have; her later support of Obama proves she wasn't a plant--Clinton probably never would have had that moment, and thus never would have won New Hampshire.

I also believe that her campaign saw it, immediately recognized its power, and began leaking it and pushing it. A few of her opponents might have badly misjudged it and pushed it as well. Either way, it wasn't an accident that it got as much attention as it did.

16. That ain't so bad
Tony Auth (from the Philadelphia Inquirer) has a reputation for liberalism, too, but he's been slagging both of the Clintons for well over a decade, and in the style Glenn McCoy popularized -- grotesque caricatures based on Washington press corps cliches.

I can't recall seeing ANY cartoons critical of Barak Obama, and only a few against John Edwards.

The self-appointed opinion-makers hate her far worse than they hated Al Gore. We ain't seen nothin' yet.

42. I'll be frank with you, the guy can be ruthless.
Political cartoonists generally are ruthless and masters of cheap shots.
I just see it as a typical political cartoon.

I sound non-chalant, but I grew up reading political cartoons when I was old enough to read the newspaper and recognize like it or not, they are expressing an opinion, like it or not.

It's political entertainment and it doesn't change my views on HRC one way or another.
