Poll question: IF Al Gore endorses Obama, will he get smeared here?
It already happened to Kerry, so I'm curious.

I might even make an argument showing Obama is more like Gore than Hillary, but never act like I know who he should endorse better than he does.

Climate change is warming up the planet, making a cold day in hell less and less likely. ;)

Don't get me wrong. I like Obama a lot, and will vote for him if Edwards drops out (which he won't), or Al endorses him (which he won't). I just happen to be hoping for a brokered convention.

Really does harmony well.

But back to a serious topic. Colbert is Catholic thus if bears were Catholic he would like them because much like the pope he is never wrong.

(I thought your post was going to say he had danced with bears!)

36. Pay closer attention
I think people make a lot of assumptions that just aren't true. There's a new poster here who could be a duplicate of me as far as animosity towards the Clintons goes, but she's an Edwards supporter. And I know one Edwards supporter very well who has gone absolutely bonkers against Obama. Use google or the search button, make sure you know if you find yourself angry at someone's comments.

31. He would be smeared but maybe a lot
of people would just respect his right to do so even if it is not our candidate of choice. I hope I'd be able to do that.

If he strongly feels a candidate is the best choice and wants to say so and say why I'd like to listen, agreeing or not.

If he thinks it makes little difference he'll stay quiet or maybe he just doesn't want to use his influence.

I had a dream he did endorse in early February (and I liked it) but I don't have predictive dreams.

51. Don't tell anyone but one time
Donald rumsfeld was helping me make a cake. He was rather stupid but pleasant enough.

I hope your dream political visitors are better ones then runsfeld.

I'd really like to know what Gore thought about the race from his perspective outside of politics. If he ever does a dream visit ask him about that.

I had my dream soon after I researched the candidates histories and made a choice after giving up on Gore, so of course his endorsement matched my candidate. It was my dream after all!

57. Somehow,
I've always managed to dream about politicians I like. I had a dream Wesley Clark was in an empty classroom (many of my dreams take place on college campus since college was the best time of my life) and I walked by and saw him. He called me in like I was an old friend and we watched tv, while joking about Bush. I had another where Obama and Oprah were hanging out with me, sitting around my kitchen table, just shootin' the breeze. So I don't get lots of information about them but if I DO, from Gore, I'll let you know. :hi:

You'll also see a lot of discussion about the OP ED pieces written that I GUARANTEE will come out in a major publication (maybe the NYT) by some prominent democrat(s) where they "explain" how Gore isn't endorsing Obama because he thinks he's the best candidate, he's really doing it for some other reason (probably one that would seem out of character for him).

69. My first thought was that...
I figured that they'd try to paint the same Al Gore we've come to know since the 2000 sElection as an obsessed man who blames the Clintons for his own failures, or some crap like that. Then I thought about it and I figure there will be more than one article with several different takes as to why he may have done it (you never know which one will gain traction, so why not try a couple of explanations). I figure other ones will range from "Al is a misogynist" to "Al just wanted to show his support for African American candidates even though he secretly supports Hillary".

77. Other.
Every person, public or private, is welcome to endorse anyone they like. I have no comment. I respect their right to endorse the candidate of their choice.

That endorsement carries no weight with me, though. There is not a single human on the face of the earth whose endorsement influences my own choice.

I don't care who endorses whom. I'd just like to think that people could analyze available information and make a sound choice. Themselves, without depending on endorsements, polls, campaign propaganda, or media hype.

I am sickened by the sheepishness of too many voters.
