1. Certainly. There's plenty of reasons to support her.

5. Just out of fairness, since polls have been pretty shoddy lately, Rasmussen's 4 day tracker shows..
no discernible bump for her nationally. The race remains statistically tied. Since that was my baseline before NH, I will continue to use it.

7. I am still hopeful that people wake up and see that John Edwards is the people's choice.
I am leaning to Hillary if that doesn't happen. Some of Obama's supporters have me in such a tight knot right now so I can't even look at him. The two are very similar after Edwards in my opinion.

12. It frustrates me that I cant vote in your elections
I think that John Edwards is the best thing since sliced bread. He speaks from the heart and I think he would fight for the battlers. Unfortunately he doesn't have the money to get his message across. Obama has no experience, and you don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to know how that works out, eg Bush for the last 7 years. I don't agree with all Clinton's policies (especially her Middle East policy) but unlike Obama, at least she has policies.

14. ~~~~~~
Well, it really frustrates me as a resident of MI that my vote means literally nothing in these important primary elections. But as a longtime resident of NC, let me tell you that Edwards is not all he is pretending to be, unless he's gone under some kind of transformation. When he had his chance to vote as our Senator, he was not really progressive at all, ignored us (his constituents) and basically was running for President from day one. No thanks. In my book, Edwards is the Dem version of Mitt.

I still think he is best for the workers and unions, but maybe I am wrong.

25. "Edwards is the Dem version of Mitt"
Yeh, you're right. Born with a silver spoon in his mouth, running on a pro-war message, seeking to make the Bush tax cuts permanent, reduce the corporate tax rate and eliminate the inheritance tax. Yeh, that's John Edwards.

29. Mitt Edwards
Has the presidential look. True believers have to look past his actual past votes and positions and go by what he says nowadays. You can count on him to flip flop on any issue whenever it is expedient. But hey, he has the presidential hair though.

15. I wish you could vote also. Edwards isn't taking money in like Hillary or Obama so
he can't fund a competitive campaign. No wonder the country is such a mess. Our politicians spend 90 pct of their time raising money for re election, and then they owe favors to all those lobbyists who paid their way into office! Interesting website I found highlights the three candidates Obama, Hillary, and Edwards. If you look at it be sure you go all the way down the pages. Links to interesting articles. Obama was painted in a different light than what I imagined. He certainly isn't a saint! http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Barack_Obama/Campaign_Financing

20. Obama is very accomplished, he has policies
He has the best health care plan because it doesn't rely on end of the year tax credits and puts more money in at the front end.

His plan to help teen fathers with education and parenting programs. He wants to change welfare to support married couples better. He wants to have child support always go straight to the custodial parent. He's working with the hip hop community to create a program that would emphasize education.

He wants to create "Promise Neighborhoods" with a full array of services and community to nurture all kids.

He proposes a $4,000 refundable tax credit for college, that you apply just by checking your tax return.

The campaign reform that was passed is important, and he continues to push to get all the lobbyist interests out.

His legislation created usaspending.gov which tracts all government contracts and grants.

He did an enormous amount in Illinois, expanded health care for kids, circumvented Bush's overtime law, raised minimum wage, ethics reform, a lot of things. The hype that has been put out about his record and his policies are just not true.

11. I have been seeing this as a......
3 person race now for about a month. I like Clinton, Edwards and Obama. I went from Edwards to Obama, but because of all the hate I have read on DU against Clinton, I plan on voting for Clinton when it is our turn here in Oregon in May. But I really don't care which one of these 3 is our nominee. All 3 would do a great job.

17. I'm starting to see it your way, too.
I was not leaning toward Clinton until the last few days. The hate is incredible. But it is not just the hate. I like the way she tells us what she will do as President.

My primary vote may not mean much, because I live in Illinois. I am sure this state will go for Obama. You cannot imagine how much pressure active Democrats are under in this state to support Obama.

21. All I got to say is.....
vote your conscious. If Clinton is the one for you, don't let other change your view. Obama is a great speaker. When he speaks he reminds me of JFK/MLK. But you are right Hillary does tells us what she wants to do as President. But again I will be happy to vote for Edwards, Obama or Clinton.

24. The hate is worse here at DU,
but the so-called progressive community have many Hillary-haters. You just have to inform yourself and make your own decisions. Don't be afraid to support Hillary if you like her. She's an incredible person and I believe she would make a great president. She'd be ready from day one to take charge and set her policies in motion.

I've always supported Hillary and have remained firm through all the adversity when Bill was president. This may sound overly dramatic but I would trust Hillary with my life. I can't say the same thing about Obama.

Read her website and be objective. I think you'll like what you read. Just don't let anyone pressure you into voting for Obama if you are not sure about him.

13. My mother was for Edwards with Hillary close 2nd, but she got so mad at the anti-Hillary attacks
that she is now firmly pro-Hillary. Solid proof that angering the Irish-American matriarchs will only drive women into the Hillary camp.

And you know, they talk about the racial make up of the Carolinas, but those states are full of Irish immigrants, too. Some people are Black and Irish. And women. And economically distressed. Must be hard.

but I thought about Obama as a possible backup choice in the event Clinton didn't make it and decided to go back to Edwards as that backup choice after the racism bullshit.

28. For me it's Edwards or secession
A Hillary regime would make life unbearable for those of us that don't support her version of Corporate Rule Uber Alles. She'll be our version of Maggie Thatcher.
The only options left for working American people will be emigration, secession or revolution.
