Will the NV caucus be delayed because of lawsuits and chaos in the procedures. I
believe it is a possibility. Trying to do a end run around a caucus rule of being at your precinct to partake by setting up at-large-precincts to make it more like a primary may have serious legal footing.

I can see a court putting the caucus on hold to reviews these procedures.

1. These lawsuits amount to nothing more than sour grapes
They could have been raised awhile ago, but instead are being raised after Obama gets the major endorsement. Its a crock

2. It's the procedures that are in question. If the campaigns didn't catch the flaws, they don't have
a very good organization and puts their judgment in question. To cry I didn't know the rules means you not ready for the game.

5. Pretty awesome, though
Trying to make it more inconvenient for working people to vote because they might support someone other than your candidate.

We saw the same bullcrap in Iowa, with the "controversy" of bringing college kids back into Iowa for the caucus.

6. I think this will be the key in getting rid of the caucus system and going to an all primary
system. The caucus is an outdated holdover from another era and needs to be replaced.

But my point is warn the supporters that SC may be the next contest and adjust for the possibility.

8. John, unfortunately, we changed Nevada law to do the caucus. That will take another 2-4 years
to change it back.

7. And the sour grapes come from the corporate casino HIllary camp ...the one those
minimum wage employees work for who MIGHT get a chance to caucus. Teachers are not being disenfranchised by this. They have Saturdays off and the the caucus is next Saturday!
Hillary's insiders voted for this plan and supported it up until Barack Obama got the Culinary Union endorsement on Wednesday. Then they sued to keep the casino workers from voting by Friday ...

SMELL THE FEAR!

9. It's more about upsetting the casino's 24/7 operation than if the workers vote, but
the flaws point out that any caucus that doesn't have reasonable voting hours as primaries do, eliminate large groups of voters.

Now I know judges do not like to get involved with political party functions, but these at-large-precincts are way over the line. IMO, they are too bad to ignore and will be struck down outright or the court may give the state more time to revamp the rules, thus causing delay.

So, I don't think there will be a caucus next Saturday.
