Which GOP candidate would be best for a Democrat to face in Nov.?
Assuming their likely pick will be McCain or Romney, (or a remotely possible Huckabee or Thompson candidacy), which one would give you the best feeling about being able to defeat the GOP in 2008?

8. FWIW my Republican parents think McCain is a whack job.
And they don't like Huckabee because he's a fundy.

9. Yeah, he's a brain-dead old codger
His acceptance speech in NH was such a joke the pundits on MSNBC were laughing their asses off - I've never seen a winning candidate get laughed at like that in my life.

11. The margins are so close that those under-40s could be significant.
They're going to look at him and see nothing but OLD and they're going to look at their kids and see nothing but WAR DEBT. And that doesn't even mention WHITE. I pray they run McCain.

7. Fundies hate McCain
but that alone will make him popular with Indys. I think McCain would be the worst Rep to go against.
