Why is he given any credence at all? Anyone listening to him on Hairballs now? He's squawking about how the black people are being seen as taking over the Democratic Party and the white people in it will start a huge backlash. That guy is like foot fungus. He's bubblegum stuck on your sneaker sole in the summer. Nixon's personal butt boil. Gak!

4. He's always been like that. Remember his "culture war" (gay baiting) speech at the RNC the year
GHWB was the nominee? The one that Molly Ivins famously described as sounding better in "the original German"?

8. His words, not mine. Damn he was obnoxious.

He can't even disguise his hatred and mysogyny any more. The last 7 years have given him permission to be blatantly bigoted.

9. He actually said
"they are afraid the Black people are going to take over the Democratic Party"

Buchanan has been in Hillary's corner in all these shows. If I were she, I would put out a statement telling everyone, that she doesn't accept his accolades....
Buchanan is telegraphing this garbage to his RETHUG racist buddies

7. At least you know where he stands...
..most of the time. And I can respect that. Even if I find some of his positions totally unpalatable at times.

15. People knew where Hitler stood, if it comes to that...
Buchanan is disgusting. I've detested him ever since he defended LePen some years ago.

11. Sure there is
But if you mean to ask if there is a bigger bigot than Pat Buchanan regularly receiving access to the nation's broadcast and cable air time, then no, there isn't. What's truly weird is how often he is booked on these shows (Newt Gingrich, too) and never makes a lick of sense, spouting hatred and bigotry and posing as the last of the True Americans.

on others. I listen to all views to see what different parts of the political spectrum represent.
