Hillary: where does she stand on corporate donations?
On the one hand, Hillary refuses to admit that the donations from the corporations are going to influence her should she become president. When asked, she just looks peeved and ignores the question.

On the other hand, in the debate tonight, she criticized Obama for taking money from proponents of nuclear energy suggesting that his support for nuclear energy might be influenced by that money.

OK Hillary. What's your stand on this? Do corporate donations influence the recipient or not?

Or are you saying that they influence Obama but not you?

I support John Edwards. He is not taking these huge corporate donations. No problem. He will not be influenced by corporate donations.

1. Opensecrets.org lists different industries and their donations ...

From Pharmaceuticals and Health Products, Hillary got more donations than anyone else.

5. Corporations can not give to candidates
They may give with PAC money or individuals who work for the corporation may give
up to the legal limit. Corporations DO NOT give to candidates.

Maybe Sen. Clinton "refuses to admit that donations from the corporations are going to influence her should she become president" because there is nothing to admit.

She can take their money and then screw them! They are just betting on a perceived winner.
Obama is closing in on the "corporate" donations now that he is perceived as a possible winner.
He will take the money too and then do what he wants as well.

9. Well Geez JDPriestly -
Didn't ya know that Corporate Lobbyists are people too? :sarcasm: - I just thought of something...a rabid Hillary supporter tried to use the ActBlue donations as proof of "Special Interests"..So, if you follow that line of thinking: John Edwards will be beholden to the American People!
