Are Republicans insane?

How do you get clean drinking water into your house? How do you know to drive on the right side of the road? Who builds the roads? How do you get your mail? What allows you to have a house without a moat or an impenetrable wall and parapets? Where does the stuff in your toilet go when you flush? Where does your trash go? Why doesn't Lake Erie burn anymore? Who cleaned up after the Exxon Valdez crashed? How do you get electricity into your house? Why don't you die of botulism when you buy vegetables at the store? How do you know your medicine is going to do what you expect it to? Why don't bandits steal your mate?

OF COURSE WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER, YOU FUCKING MISANTHROPIC TROGLODYTIC NEANDERTHALISTIC LUDDITE!!!

3. Jonah Goldberg is indicative of people who have forgotten what fascism really is.
People who forget the past are condemned to repeat it.

7. If corporations want to pack your salad with poison to make a buck, that's the American Way!

If you think they shouldn't be able to do that, you're a liberal fascist!

8. Has anyone explained to Godberg that Fascism according
to Mussolini is better called Corporatism.

Fascism is the merger of Business and Government. Business
runs things here now. Not to concerned with the people.
This state of affairs have produce Edwards, Kucinich
Huckabee and helped them catch fire.

We are all in this together means People get some power.
The Jonah Goldbergs of the world have twisted the pretzel
here and try to make something fits when it does not.

Pure and simple GOPer cringe at We are All in this Together.
This means there is a common good. This mean we do have
responsibility for others and what happens. Oh my God,
the taxes might increase a few pennies if we are all this
together.

"NEW YORK Columnist Jonah Goldberg stopped by Comedy Central's "Daily Show" on Wednesday night to tout his provocative new book, "Liberal Fascism." Jon Stewart clearly didn't buy the premise, asking at one point in exasperation, "Organic food is fascist???" and "I must say you totally misrepresent what progressive means."

Apparently the taping went on so long, and with so many nuggets, that (as Stewart had warned) some of it had to be aired in choppy sound bites.

Most touchy moment for Jonah came when Stewart asked him if one of the things he was against was people throwing around the charge "fascism" far too easily. Jonah said yes, then Stewart picked up a copy of the book and simply pointed to the title, "Liberal Fascism" -- adding, so why are you doing this?

Goldberg got angry at one point and accused Stewart of not reading his book."

20. Isn't Jonah the Doughy Pantload the son of Luci Ann Goldberg
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 12:36 PM by Democrat 4 Ever
the witch that set up Monica Lewinski to spill her guts while she illegally taped everything? Some friend.

Doughy Pantload's mother is a publisher, guess nepotism is needed to get a load of sh*t published. Stewart made Doughy look really stupid. Stewart pulled a Tweety on him and left him breathless, mumbling and mad. Doughy even pulled another Tweety trick when he yelled at Jon "You haven't read my book!" Funny stuff. Hope the entire interview is available soon for our viewing pleasure.

Wonder when these asswipes are going to wake up and realize they need to avoid TDS like the plague? Their ego wants to go on the "cool" show but their lack of brain power just really makes it like shooting fish in a barrel for Jon.

*Out, out damn typo!

23. Another classic Jon Stewart interview.
Recommend everyone watch it on today's Comedy Central replay, or find it online!

Stewart asked asshole, "So...Organic Food is fascism?"

Asshole responded: "YES! It was the Germans under Hitler who started the whole nature thing and the idea that "We are all in this together"!!!!

I believe that the German Jews would disagree with Jonah Goldberg (who really should know better!)

Also disagreeing with Jonah:
The non-Germanic/non Aryan Europeans and Asians (several Billion) who were NOT in it together with the NAZIs.
