God Bless Dan Abrams
Edited on Thu Jan-17-08 09:04 PM by Magic Rat
He's talking about the debate the other night and how Obama is being more honest than Clinton and Edwards when it came to admitting your weaknesses and Obama actually admitting one and the other two just spinning good things into so-called weaknesses.

Also, he's saying that Obama is being honest.

Heads up for Obama supporters.

5. Obama and Edwards both just said things I liked and things I didn't.
Obama's statement about Reagan was scary and perhaps ill-informed and definitely ill-phrased, but he was honest about his tendency toward disorganization and needing help with that. Good for him.

Edwards' "fake weakness" was straight out of the cliched job interview book. "If you're asked what your biggest weakness is, say you're a perfectionist" or "Say you care TOO much" or "Say you're TOO understanding," blah blah blah. But I loved his saying we will never hear him comparing himself to Reagan in any way.

6. The fact the Obama could lose track of the nuclear
"football" worries me.

He should try being a little less honest.

7. Also said it was going to come back and haunt him...
Job Interviewing Tips:

Tip #1: The weaknesses you cite must not be a vital component of the job you are seeking.
Tip #2: The applicant should then show how the weakness is being addressed.
Tip #3: Pick a weakness that is really a strength

"One of my weaknesses is that I tend to be impatient with people who aren't willing to pull their full weight and give 110%."

What does Obama say? "I lose papers"
