Friday morning recount numbers: Clinton. Edwards and Obama each down 12 votes: Kucinich down 7

Among the top 3 there is virtually no change so far.

The largest errors were in Manchester Ward 5 and were spread out among all the candidates (still not a huge amount).

Perhaps they need to look at that precinct a bit and find out where the error was.

2. I saw this last night in LBN and have been thinking about it.
According to Bradblog reports, some of the Optiscan machines failed and had their memory cards replaced during the election. What if one of those failures was in Ward 5 and they scanned some ballots twice? That could explain the discrepancy, although it's still not very reassuring.

5. I can't really rely on bradblog for honest reporting on this issue.
They're getting a bit too squirrelly/hysterical for my tastes. dailykos has been more sane.
