Nader on Reagan, or GD-P chemistry: what happens when you combine acids and bases?
From '81:

"Reagan is going to breed the biggest resurgence in nonpartisan citizen activism in history."

And from later, he still believes this:

"If it were a choice between a provocateur and an anaesthetiser, I'd rather have a provocateur. It would mobilize us."

Heighten those contradictions! Of course, Sierra Club membership going up eventually counteracted the environmental deregulation under Reagan, right? Right?

Nader and Reagan, a perfect storm? Only your replies can tell the tale. :D
