If Obama loses, what will his excuse be?

He got a big endorsement, succeeded in helping to preserve a one man five vote scheme that was to his advantage, and put out dishonest attack ads.

If he loses there will only be one reason: incompetence as a candidate.

How will he try to spin it? There will be no excuse except that he failed miserably.

9. Teachers working on Saturday!? Where?
My mom taught in public school for 25 years, my sister is a teacher, my brother a former teacher.

They don't work on Saturdays unless you mean voluntarily.

10. Why can't Hillary hold onto the lead she had in the polls for the past year?
Why is it that Hillary goes down in the polls so much when people get to know Obama better?

13. How far ahead was Hillary in New Hampshire two months ago?
Why can't a former first lady with the backing of the last Democratic President win by more than 2 points and come in third in Iowa against a political newcomer? Pretty pathetic considering all the cards she has stacked in her favor.

18. That by winning (in Iowa), and becoming more well known, he shrinks Hillary's leads.
Like he did in NH.

Hillary was ahead there for months. It was her "firewall." She almost lost.

19. I agree. The deck is stacked against Obama in NV.
He'll likely lose to the HillaryInc machine there. I'm just hoping he can make it close in the end.

maybe he'll use the same "excuse" for Nevada.

27. Obama didn't disenfranchise teachers -- that is an OUT AND OUT TROLL LIE!
There was an arrangement made by Democrats in NV, INCLUDING HRC supporters, agreed upon unanimously in March of 07. Four of those who WERE at the meeting where this was agreed upon then, after the Culinary Workers' Union endorsed Obama, joined the lawsuit by HRC allies who controlled one of the state's teachers' unions.

Neither of the teachers' unions NOR any significant group of teachers cited anywhere in the controversy or in the extensive discussion of this on DU have EVER raised ANY objection for nine months UNTIL THE CWU endorsed Obama.

To suggest that Obama disenfranchised teachers is, under these facts, an out and out lie, and the kind of trollagerie that I have spoken about being a rampant, and largely unaddressed issue at DU. Of late, there has been more of a consciousness of this problem, but there needs to be a deeper understanding and more concerted efforts by rank and file DUers.

It was an indicative embarassment that arguments Kucinich saw as being valid were dismissed officially and out of hand by those administrating DU as not even being of ARGUABLE validity. That isn't to claim that the election was stolen, only to maintain a healthy skepticism.

At the same time as discussion of exit polls diverging from reported election results -- recognized FOR OTHER COUNTRIES as the best way to tell if there's been election fraud was squashed, trollagerie abounds on the board, in particular corners, without even any administrative COMMENT, let alone action. The inconsistency is glaring and in itself very telling.
