Perhaps we need a little "reality check" here....
While we have been whining about how much Obama likes Reagan, and re-hashing the various "Crimes of Hillary", real things have been happening to real people.
We sometimes forget this. Me included.
So for a break from all the very important political events:
Yesterday Spc. John Sigsbee, 21, of Waterton NY and Pfc. David Sharrett, 27, of Oakton Virginia, died in Balad, Iraq.

Sorry to interrupt our election debate.
We are now free to continue complaining about the very important things that make us upset.

2. I just felt like a shit upon reflection.
I was sitting here arguing about nonsense.
Then for some reason checked the casualty report.

While I have been bitching about nothing, arguing about complete bullshit, young men and women are getting killed in a bullshit war.
I need to put myself in check and remember what this is really all about.
If anybody has a reason to bitch tonight, it's their family, not me.

peace.

4. I'm not forgetting those who die in this horrible war one bit.
That's the very reason I'm praying for an Edwards nomination, because he WILL end the madness and killing by putting a stop to the war.

11. These folks would be alive and well if Dennis Kucinch was elected in '04.
I'm so sorry that this is not how it is.

But the reality is, if we don't want more posts like your OP, we need to elect a President that will start bringing our troops home on Jan. 20, 2009.

And the only candidate willing to do that is Dennis Kucinich.
