If Obama and Clinton supporters want to fight with other Democrats, then fight with those who support Kucinich, Edwards or Gravel. At least there are real differences to argue about.

I can't believe there is so much vitriol over the hair-splitting differences between the two DLC candidates.

For the most part, the two are politically interchangeable.

You Clinton and Obama supporters are not invited to my round-table discussion on who was a better Star Fleet Captain, Benjamin Sisko or Catherine Janeway.

Both of whom would be MUCH better Presidents than Obama, Clinton, Kucinich or Edwards.

And not just because they're from The Future.

1. If Obama were so great, his supporters wouldn't have to bash Hillary so much.

2. If Hillary was so great, her supporters wouldn't have to bash
Obama so much. After all, she's the "legacy" candidate. She's also leaning heavily on Bill. She has dozens of advantages over Obama. It says a lot that he was able to give her such a credible challenge. And if she gets the nomination and loses in November, the Clintons will easily be the most despied couple in the dem party- and their supporters will share that sentiment.

6. I think there are a lot of people on this board who have
internalized and personalized this campaign almost beyond reason.Supporters of candidate X are evil, supporters of candidate Y are good.

7. that is the reason they fight... there is no difference between them
so they must in order to try and create the perception that there is.

8. Policy position wise I agree they are pretty damn close
we could point to relatively minor differences is all.

Its the can that candidate really win the big one that gets people so hot. We don't want to lose in November ya know? Is it possible they both have relatively equal odds of winning, sure its possible.

"So I yelled, 'Die, Heretic!' and pushed him over."'
