I'll be surprised if Hillary wins NV
I don't think this race is predictable by polls. Instead I would look at how close the race is, whether there is any signs of movement, who had the last identifiable momentum. It seems to me Obama had the last momentum and I haven't seen any signs that Hillary took it back.

1. I'm for Edwards, but
I could live with an Obama win and a Clinton loss.

2. Edwards supporters will probably be the difference.
Edwards will probably be inviable in a lot of places. Where do they go?

6. One more time, for the record:
Not to pass judgment or anything, but I will...

What a screwy system. The organized gamesmanship of horse trading in caucuses is bad enough. So now, under special rules in place in Nevada, we have to guess who gets added special juice; Union reps watching their members line up live at the work place or rural voters who get their votes weighed 10X that of more urban voters.

Honestly, and I say this now before any results are in that can bias my opinion, I am beginning to think that whatever results come out of this caucus round should simply be discarded and ignored as irrelevant to anything.

On top of everything else there is no established tradition of caucus going in Nevada so the sample who actually participate today are extremely unlikely to be representative of the public at large. The Nevada caucus was originally intended to be tucked in between Iowa and New Hampshire when it's actual impact on the race would have loomed much smaller than it does now. I don't think anyone saw this day coming the way it has.

11. I'm agnostic on the issue at this time
but I find your argument compelling, at least from the standpoint that a win should probably be valued less than a primary win.

12. Obama doesn't have the Democratic version of Karl Rove, Bill Clinton, on his side
The Clintons will do whatever it takes to win. They will prevail.

13. Hillary has the Harry Reid machine behind her.
I hate when governors and congresspeople do stuff like that. It feels so manipulative.
