Nevada must be pulled from lead state status.
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 05:02 PM by thunder rising
A Red state with a major white population turns out 20,000 odd voters. While the Democratic candidates poor money in to Red Media and establishments.

How many thousands of dollars were spent on each vote.

This is an embarrassment, an experiment that did not work. Put them back in the stack and draw up another state.

2. People on both the GOP and Dem side in Nevada want our primary back
so people who work on election day can vote by absentee or early. You may see that change in our next legislative session.

4. Obama & Clinton spent big in NV because they can't win in the south
apparently they think they can carry the GE without any southern states. Bad idea.

7. Because the south is too bigoted to vote for them?
That's what you're saying you know. John Edwards appeals to racists who won't vote for Obama and sexist pigs who won't vote for Hillary. Is that the entire basis of Edwards' campaign?

5. It is 60% white
Regardless, their vote is as valid as any other state. I don't like it, I think people have their head so far up their ass they'll never see daylight. But as I've been saying for nearly 5 years, THIS IS AMERICA people. This country is not full of far left populists.

6. Hahahahahahahaha!! And Iowa and NH are representative?
The whole opening salvo routine is just for spin and momentum. Sometimes the 'mo' holds, other times it doesn't.

This is ALL ABOUT throwing bones to those low population states. The 'caucus' and primary bizzes are BIG BIZ.

Romney spent a BUNDLE in Iowa...he got more bang for his buck this time, though...

9. Please don't make inaccurate and foolish claims.
107,000+ Democrats turned out for the Nevada Caucus. And with 78% of vote in, 33,000+ Republicans voted today in Nevada.

10. You're 100% wrong.
I think Nevada is a great early state. Diverse, mountain west, and union heavy. Also, over 107K showed up.
