10. 1 - it's the DEMOCRATIC caucus - not a "caucus" - that's the way it SHOULD be...
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 06:53 PM by TankLV
2 - people could and DID register JUST BEFORE THE CAUCUS...

3 - many of them registered and joined the OBAMA groups...

3 - Repukes and comitted Independant idiots couldn't sway the outcome - which is a GOOD thing and as it SHOULD be...

4 - It was mess where I was and I really didn't like it at all - too many chances for mischief by ANYBODY...

12. Whoop! Still on task with that objective outlook, hmm, Tank?
Repukes and comitted Independant idiots couldn't sway the outcome - which is a GOOD thing and as it SHOULD be... (my emphasis, btw)

Trying to be understanding, but your poll numbers are slippin' . . .

14. Yes - IDIOTS - they're not DEMOCRATS - just like their pal LIE-berman...
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 07:14 PM by TankLV
We're DEMOCRATS last time I looked - and I'm a DEMOCRAT..

REPUKES are IDIOTS...

Independants are IDIOTS - if they think they should be allowed to be able to vote in the DEMOCRATIC PARTY events...that's why you join a PARTY...that's one of the disadvantages of being INDEPENDANT - idiots don't get to participate in PARTY events...

Besides - if anybody wants to participate, repuke or independant - they can first SWITCH PARTYs or JOIN the DEMOCRATIC party right beforehand...it's really not that hard to understand...

17. err - actually,
I'm an unaffiliated voter. I change my registration to vote in the primaries (in closed primary states) or, in this case, to caucus. I have my own reasons for not registering as a Democrat, which are only tangentially related to this discussion.

You're broad brushing with a statement like that one and do a disservice not only to others but yourself as well, because I know you're smarter than your last post sounds. Democracy is bigger than Party politics; you know that.

People seem to have a very odd opinion of "independents" - for one, they lump the political party (which is fairly new) with the larger number of people who are actually unaffiliated. Part of that is because of the "new" party. I registered in 1976 as an "independent" - at that time, that was what they called people who did not want to be affiliated with any party. When the Independent party manifest, I actually got a phone call from the state voter registrar, asking me if I wanted to stay "independent" or change my registration to the new category "unaffiliated." I suspect there are a lot of people out there like me.

The fact that I have never "belonged" to the Democratic Party doesn't have anything to do with my politics, however. I tend to chart out as a "progressive liberal" - in the UK I'd probably be what is called a "liberal democrat" - one thing I am most certainly not is an idiot.

I know you're frustrated, Tank - I think we're all reaching critical mass around here. Take a deep breath and go back to those more reasoned posts that I'm accustomed to reading from you. Please.

11. They can't vote in Arizona either. You must switch parties by a deadline to vote.
No funny business allowed.
