Wisconsin: Dean visit puts focus on jobs
Green Bay - Within miles of the meatpacking plants that lent this city a famous nickname, Democratic presidential aspirant Howard Dean used a campaign stop here Monday to lay some blame for the case of mad cow disease in Washington state at the feet of President Bush.

Dean also downplayed recent rosy economic numbers, saying they hardly offset the loss of 3 million jobs during Bush's term.

"We need new jobs in this country. This is why we need a new president," said Dean, on his third official campaign visit to Wisconsin.

Dean has outpolled and raised more money than his rivals throughout much of the country, and in Wisconsin, but even he cautioned Monday that no ballots have yet been cast. The Wisconsin primary is Feb. 17.

1. Damn right.
All this criticism of Dean and he's STILL the most vocal about the fact that the primaries haven't even started yet.

2. Like Deans talk
I like what Dean says. He may put his foot in his mouth on occasion, but I'm tired of the Democrats that say what they think you want to hear. I want to hear the truth!!

Right on!

Dean speaks truth to power, that's why they hate him so...

4. It's like what Gore said when he endorsed Dean
People don't mind a few gaffes here and there because they know it's because Dean is speaking from the heart. It's a kind of genuine feeling you don't get from politicians who's every word is scripted.

5. Dean is DOOMED and we're DOOMED if we nominate him
Americans don't care about their jobs or the economy. Haven't you gotten the memo? The ONLY thing they care about is FOREIGN POLICY!
