That’s it! DU has finally convinced me who to vote for!

After careful consideration of all of the reasoned and well-expressed points that I’ve been reading here on DU, I’ve finally figured out, by process of elimination, who I’ll be voting for in the February 5th primary.
I’ve come to understand through balanced deliberation and tireless parsing of hundreds of posts that John Edwards is actually a phony and a hypocrite, and having lost his bid for VP in 2004, cannot hope to beat any of the Republican candidates.
I’ve learned that Hillary Clinton is not only a corporate shill, but a major liability. Should she win the Democratic nomination, Republicans will awaken from their stupor and even crawl out of their graves in order to vote for Satan himself rather than see her seated in the Oval Office.
I know now that Kucinich too much resembles a Keebler elf for the superficial leanings of the American electorate despite being dead right on every issue.
It’s all too obvious that Barak Obama is lining up with the AIPAC and will commit to legislation that makes it legal to hunt gays if you have a CDC permit… how else will he get The South to vote for a black man?

I know now that there really is only one rational choice for the Democratic candidate… that choice must not be a corporatist, a fake, a bigot, a pariah, or even an elf.

On February 5th, I will be voting for an eggplant*.

Thank you DU, you have talked me out of making what could be a giant mistake in the primaries so that I can live with myself for knowing that I wasn’t responsible for messing things up.

*actually, I lied, I have to vote in the Republican primary here… I think I may go with ‘carrot’.

I was actually hoping the other person was kidding - I would prefer to get along with fellow NH-erites. I haven't seen that kind of PC in a long, long time - people are really wound tight this election season :yoiks:

I really can't imagine focusing so much effort on finding devisive points of contention. It was pretty bad in '04 too.
