5. I have no idea
Edwards is right on this one. It's a threshhold issue, just like Social Security. It needs to be mandatory to work.

15. Tax credits or subsidies?
It's not the same thing. And what he said is that giving hardship exemptions or fines without coverage LEAVES PEOPLE OUT. Edwards and Clinton are not being honest about their health care plans.

19. Edwards' plan subsidizes the poor up to 100%. ...
Not tax credits, since many poor don't pay income taxes.
Edwards' plan provides subsidies, at varying degrees, up to an income of $100,000. a year.

13. It doesn't MANDATE People Into Homelessness
Check out all the hardship exemptions in Massachusetts to know you have to do costs before mandates, which is exactly the same as Edwards' plan, by the way.

17. My Gosh some of you don't get it
Would you rather be forced to buy something you can't afford or get a fine OR would you like that at least your children get insurance and get the damn system reformed so you can afford insurance.

Hillary's plan is not fiscally responsible given the countries current financial climate. It is why it could not get passed in NY or in '93.

20. mind reading
He's thinking Americans don't want a bureaucracy shoved down their throat. He will make the coverage possible, which is all anyone is actually capable of doing in the real world. Being able to opt out is a must. Obama's plan has shades of brilliance, you should read about it in detail.

28. Kucinich is the ONLY candidate offering a "HealthCare" Plan.
Kucinich's MediCare for ALL Plan immediately reduces the cost of healthcare about 30% by eliminating the FOR PROFIT Insurance and HMOs from the game. His is also the MOST socially equitable plan available.

All the rest offer FOR PROFIT Health Insurance Plans. BIG difference.

Edwards comes close with a plan that also offers availability of a Non-Profit Government operated (MediCare like) plan that will compete with (and hopefully drive out of business) the FOR PROFIT carriers.

Hillary has a MANDATORY Private FOR PROFIT Health Insurance Scam that directly funnels $MILLIONS ($Billions ?) of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of her biggest campaign contributors.

a chance.... but there isn't. This country's minds are controlled by the media.

30. Sorry but he's right.
Unless we go single-payer which we can't do without a Dem president and a much greater majority, then it's wrong to mandate coverage. All we'd be doing would be mandating a lot of those people to buy private insurance -making the problem worse and punishing the poor. If it's not single-payer then I think people deserve a choice. Not to mention it makes the plan a whole lot easier to pass among moderates and republicans which we need until we get a much greater majority.
