It's her contempt for South Carolinians that I find so unattractive
Look, Hill knew that she was going to piss off a lot of people in that state when she went gonzo on Obama. And she doesn't give a fuck. She knows she'll never have a chance there in the general. She assumes, probably correctly, that she has the nomination, and she's got a plan to minimize Obama's win there next Saturday. The plan: Her spokespeople will point out ad nauseum that he won because he's a black candidate in a state where 50% of the dem voters are black. It'll kill two birds with one stone. And I really don't need to say more than that.

This just demonstrates one thing: the ugliness of her campaign.

4. John Edwards and Barack both showed a lot of humanity tonight. Hillary couldn't or wouldn't.
Whoever advised Hillary to pull out the knives and make scowls throughout the debate did her should be taken to the woodshed.

Hillary was way up on the anger meter tonight and it was a turn off.

Good luck with that, sweetie.

If you're right, then it's a pretty ugly thing for her to have done tonight. Winning at all cost. Ug-lee.

Before you declared your Obama support you had a lot of people fooled - they thought you were reasonable. I was one of those people.

Fool me once shame on ..... whatever....

9. I've always been fair to her. I've defended her a lot on here.
I can't say I ever liked her, but I didn't care for the sexist and bullshit attacks on her. Now? Sadly, I just don't care anymore. I think she'd do anything to win.

8. Not surprisingly, cali, we disagree.
I believe Senator Clinton does care about South Carolinians in as much as she purports to lead them roughly a year from now.

You assert that she "doesn't give a fuck."

That's a baseless charge. You're parading your anger instead of offering analysis.

It takes a lot of damn nerve to stand in front of bright lights in front of a cable-connected globe and stand up for yourself, and I saw three people doing that this evening.

One of those three is likely to be our next president.

And it might even be one you don't care for.

But that doesn't give you the right to presume she "doesn't give a fuck."

Shame on you.

13. She attacked disingenously.
And sorry, there's plenty of evidence that her campaign has been playing dirty- the lawsuit in NV was hardly by disinterested parties. The long string of comments by surrogates. And you're wrong: I'm not even angry at this point- simply resigned and disgusted.

No shame here. Go scold someone else.

10. Senator Clinton was very presidential this evening. She was
obviously an adult on the stage.

Obama may be a great VP. He will benefit from her example and leadership. Had Edwards taken adv advantage of his time with her, he would be closer to the top today but I also appreciate his addition to the debate.

24. It's her contempt for PEOPLE that I find so unattractive.
Hillary, like Chimpy, feels that she has a "right" to be president. She doesn't give a shit about undoing the damage that has been done to this country for the last 28 years, because she is part of the problem.

At the end of this wild ride if Hill/Bill manages to wrest the power back from Dean and good dems..her Pyrrhic nomination will make Hubert Humphrey's in 1968 look like Winston Churchill in comparison.

contemptuous to the people of S Carolina. I'll be surprised if she even comes in 3rd now. But as you said, she doesn't care. She's running a scorched earth campaign and fuck whoever gets in her way.

31. "She assumes, probably correctly, that she has the nomination"
There is the contradiction in your case. If Hillary assumed that she has the nomination the last thing that she would do is not give a fuck how she is perceived by Obama's black base. If she was confident she has the nomination she would concentrate on mending fences to unite the Party behind her. Hillary may be a lot of things but stupid is not one of them
