Though JRE is my guy, and I think he won, I think it was unfair to make Hillary answer for Bill.

No one jumped Michelle or Elizabeth for any of their comments and frankly, though I understand that Bill is an ex Pres and carries more weight, I do not think it was right for Obama to make Hillary defend Bill.JMHO.

1. Her husband is a former president of the US. Very different.
she made it about Bill and he is overshadowing her. It is a mistake.

4. I agree but Obama , in turn, made it about Bill, and he shouldn't have, ex Pres or not.

2. bill is a former us president and one of the highlights
of hillaries campaign. His former position and current actions place him at a much different level of noticability then michelle or liz. I think its right for hillary to answer for bill since alot of her campaign is "two for the price of one"

5. I disagree.I think 2 for 1 is a mistake but she shouldn't have to answer for him.
And I don't think she should be forced to.I think if Obama referrred to Bill as "her Campaign, or a "surrogate" it would have been less offensive. But hey JMHO.

6. IF Bill was supporting her as a spouse,
I would be the FIRST to say "Hands off"

However, she's running on the fact that she was 'Co-president' and that his experience in the White House translates to her.

She's pushing the same 'Twofer' consistantly.

If she doesn't want to answer for him, then she needs to stop referring to the 90's and HIS experience as hers.

8. If she wants to chalk up Bill's experience as her own, then she takes the good with the bad.
If she is chalking up things Bill does right as part of her experience, then I guess the bad stuff can rub off on her too...

9. Oh for chrissake a Former President is not the same as a spouse
Your hatred of Obama is inexplicable. Bill has been out there playing Hillary's hatchet man, 60% of her voters prefer Bill, he is absolutely fair game.

11. I don't "hate' him. I actually don't want either Hillary or Barack as president because I don't like
what they believe. So? That is hatred?

12. No.
I support Edward's because he supports the middle-class and the poor.

Hillary and Obama are funded by the establishment and sound like the establishment.

15. He's to the left of Edwards
You've just chosen to believe the lies and have turned your support of Edwards into an irrational witch hunt of Obama. The only way to believe Edwards is better on the issues is to just completely ignore his entire Senate record.

13. I think it was fair.
Bill has been attacking Obama, like a hatchet man. Obama had to call him and her on that. It makes her look weak that she can't run on her own record, or her own likability, which is much lower than Bill's.

16. If He Ran an Honorable Campaign, She Wouldn't Have to "Answer" Anything
Let's not play babe in the woods. If Michelle or Elizabeth were laying bombs like the man from Hope, they'd be called out too.

17. So Bill can distort the facts on Obama while campaigning for Hillary
covered on all the TV's around the world, but doesn't show up for the debates to answer for his lies?

BS. Hillary sends Bill out there she can answer for him.

Stand by your man....however that stupid song goes

She should do her own dirty work

18. As long as she runs on her experience as First Lady and a return to the 90s, its completely fair.
