Is Bill Clinton Getting in Obama's Head?: Testy Exchange with Reporter
***Is Bill Clinton Getting in Obama's Head?
January 22, 2008 6:13 PM

ABC News' Sunlen Miller Reports: It should have been an easy question for Sen. Barack Obama: “Are you allowing President Clinton to get in your head?”

Yet, it took Obama three tries to answer the question, in what turned into a testy exchange with the New York Times' Jeff Zeleny following a campaign event in Greenwood, South Carolina.

"I am trying to make sure that his statements by him are answered. Don't you think that's important?" Obama shot back, while walking away.

When Zeleny yelled a follow up question suggesting the Illinois senator had not answered the question, Obama fired back angrily, "Don't try cheap stunts like that."

Obama then walked away and shook hands with the mass of voters that surrounded him.

A few minutes later, Obama came back and confronted Zeleny again.

"I will answer your question though off the record, would you like to talk off the record?" Obama asked. Zeleny refused to go off the record and then motioned toward the gaggle of TV cameras gathered around him.

Obama then returned to his supporters and began shaking more hands before returning a third time to the group of reporters.

"My suspicion is that the other side must be rattled if they’re continuing saying false things about us," Obama finally responded, ignoring follow up questions as he left the room.***

4. If Bill Clinton's anger "won" NH and Nevada,
Then Obama will not only win SC but a lot of Super Tuesday states.

According to Shillbot logic.

This reminds me of the McCain tantrum - when he declared he doesn't want press coverage anymore....

11. So Bill can get testy with reporters, but not Obama. Nice double standard.
"This reminds me of the McCain tantrum - when he declared he doesn't want press coverage anymore...."

Yeah, McCain really tanked after that.

8. You know what I'd like to see?
I'd like to see Wes Clark get both of these assholes in the same room, then knock their heads together while repeating the mantra that is my sig line, until they finally each grow up and get some sense.

This is childish, this is incredibly stupid, and I personally want to pound lumps on both of 'em.

$#@%^^$%$#@@^%$#@!&^^!!!!

He's not ready for the job yet. He's like the bully on the playground that can't take it when someone fights back.

13. I'm not an Obama fan...
but I really think Bill Clinton should have stayed out of the election altogether. It's kind of demeaning to him as an ex-president to get so "down and dirty" in the campaign. It also makes Hillary look like she can't fight her own fights.

18. If anyone read my posts last evening I said that obama has let
Bill into his mind or psyche, and obama looked as though on several close ups he appeared as if he were looking for Bill to jump right in and question his answers. Yes, obama is rattled and I've also said that obama at times comes across as incoherent when answering. You can only get so damn far with flash and dash and sooner rather then later folks will see an empty suit and this is really what obama is an empty suit with nothing to run on but CHANGE.....

here is a lil funny I did last night entitled obama looking for bill.....

could someone make sure Bill is not outside. Yes I will look.....:hide: I do not see him over here mr obama....:hide: I do not see him over here Mr. Obama...:hi: Pssst Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrack, over here:hide:
Where are you Bill? you making my life miserable, where are you?pssst....Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrack over here...:hide: BOOOOOOOO:woohoo:

19. Billy isn't getting to Obama. Obama is just fighting back Swift boat style attacks.
from the Clinton's. Seems in 04 through 07, fighting back and not allowing someone to get away with smearing you personally and professionally was the right thing to do. Even Billy did it on Fox News. Now, fighting back is considered weak? Give me a break.
Obama isn't going to put up with the Clinton's sh*t.

21. Thats exactly right. It's amazing to see Clinton supporters endorse Karl Rove
type tactics. Actually it's disgusting and I feel sorry for them and wonder how they ever became democrats. And I am an Edwards supporter.
