3. This is a California state poll. Also, no point of reference.
I don't see any evidence of a national bounce, only spin.

4. She is the best debator hands down
I do think Obama finally grew a pair of balls though. Something he hasn't shown much of in his career. The one thing I dont like about Obama is that he tends to miss important votes, probabally for political reasons, as Edwards pointed out.

9. Thanks, do you have a link to the poll?
Or to an article about the poll?

12. There's no article. I went backwards from the link to the chart.

Click on the 1st link (KPIX-TV) to get to the piechart at the start of this thread.

Either the poster misunderstood it to be national, or this is spin.

14. This is a poll of the San Francisco Bay area - FYI - not a National poll
The polling data is here:

18. A California poll, not a national poll, and taken 01/11-01/13/08
CA DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY: At Edwards' Expense, Obama Creeps to Within 15 Points of Hillary -- In a Democratic Primary in delegate-rich California today, 01/14/08, three weeks to the vote, Hillary Clinton defeats Barack Obama 50% to 35%, according to SurveyUSA tracking poll data conducted for KABC-TV Los Angeles, KPIX-TV San Francisco, KGTV-TV San Diego and KFSN-TV Fresno. Compared to SurveyUSA's most recent CA poll released one month ago, before Iowa and New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton is up 1 point, Obama is up 5 points, and John Edwards, who finishes today at 10%, is down 4 points. In October, Clinton led Obama by 37 points. Obama has gained material ground since then, but Clinton has not lost as much ground, so the advantage remains hers. Obama today leads among men by 9 points; Clinton leads among women by 33 points -- a 42-point Gender Gap. In greater Los Angeles, Clinton leads by 14. In greater San Francisco, Clinton leads by 6.

19. That was in reply to someone who said a poll was for San Francisco and not a statewide poll.
National averages of polls are way behind right now with Jan 17 being the latest averages that can be relied on - almost.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_primaries.html

I notice some cable channels are using RCP or other averages rather than a single pollster.

20. Your OP refers to a national bounce with a link to a San Francisco poll
You then provided a link to a California state poll.

The responses have been to say your OP claiming a "National" bounce is not reinforced by a link to a local or statewide California poll.

21. I am not the original poster. Someone said that a referenced poll was from SF.
So I provided a statewide California poll.

17. Go Obama!
I'll take a 6-point difference! And considering these people were polled before the debate, it's probably closer now. Once Obama wins South Carolina, it will be even closer, he might even pull ahead!
