Poll question: On A Scale Of 1-10, How Enthusiastic Will Your Support Be Of Obama, If He's The Nominee
With a 10 being as enthusiastic as humanely possible.

and

With a 1 being, yeah, I'll vote for him and that's it.

1. One, but just barely
I'm still not convinced that his prominent association with the ex-gay movement and his use of the ex-gay movement's rhetoric and code words in his speeches is mere pandering to the right.

2. Zero...
Will probably not vote for him except under the most dire of circumstances...if my state is close in order to prevent a Republican victory...

6. Same here...I can't imagine him not being a disaster not only as the
nominee, but as Prez...besides, whoever gets in for the Dems will face a very difficult few years because of the mess she or he will inherit. I don't think people realize how bad it will be...people will have little patience with the new Prez...they'll want things turned around quickly. I don't think Obama is up to the job and we'll take a hit in 2010 and then lose the white house in 2012.

12. Exactly...
As much as I like and admire Bill Clinton...it took him a year or more to get on his feet after he was elected...and he had more relevant experience than Obama does...

It's gonna take a long time for Obama to get up to speed...time we don't have...

9. Are you even a genuine Hillary supporter?
Apparently you don't see the importance of respecting the outcome of the primary process.

If you can't accept the outcome then don't play the game. In sports or politics.

I hope all of us recognise the value of supporting the Democratic ticket in November.

It's not just about who is on the ticket, it is about winning back the Whitehouse.

More Democrats and less Republicans means more chance of achieving positive change.

8. A good, solid 5.
He's fine; not much better and not much worse than any of the top three, and one huge motherfucking hell of a lot better than the dipshits who've been running the country into the ground the past seven years. He's no Al Gore, but what can you do?

11. To be completely honest I would probably have to say 9.
I think all the candidates have weaknesses and you should never trust any politician 100%.

But after reading some of the mean-spirited anti-Obama posts above, I decided to go with 10. B-)

15. Right now, I'd have to rate myself at a "2".
The only way I could vote for him at the moment, would be if I were in a primary state where my vote was needed to keep Hillary from winning.

The Obama of his speeches would be a great candidate. The Obama who panders to right wingers, homophobes, and has the "approval" of Al From and Harold Ford, not so much.

If he should wrap up the nomination on Supercalifragilisticexpealidocius Tuesday, then he will have 8 months to convince me that he can reach out to the left as much as he can the right. Let the so-called "blue dogs" hold their goddamned noses when they vote for once.

17. I'm abstaining. I'm not sure what Obama really stands for.
I wish they had debates every week. I want to know a lot more about him, and see him under pressure.

16. If Obama is the nominee, the enthusiasm of my support will be
a 10, the same as for any Democratic nominee for President. He may not be my first choice, but he is is definitely a better choice than anyone the Republicans have in their field of candidates. I feel that it is imperative that we get Democrats in control of our country in this election cycle.
