Edwards Supporters: The John Edwards Campaign Needs Phone Bankers

I received a call from one of the workers on his campaign early this AM, as I imagine others who signed up on line may have, too. He said they need people to come down to SC, but, as I can't do that, he instructed me to go to their phone bank on line.

You can go to http://johnedwardsphonebank.com/ and register by entering your email and password if you have already signed up on line with the Edwards campaign. If you haven't, it will allow you to register then.

The phone bank will allow you to obtain lists to call from your home -- it's a great way to donate monetarily and to put forth some manpower/woman-power toward his candidacy at the same time. I'm waiting for access to my own list as we speak.

as I understand it. If you have a local Democratic Party office, you might can get some there -- they often have all the candidates' stuff.

I was told our offices here are closed, although I'm driving by there later today just to confirm. I signed up to phone bank by phone, though. I was asked to come to SC -- I would've liked to do that -- but I've got three kids -- two with the flu now -- and no $$ to hop on a plane now.

practically everyone has their answering machines on. I suppose they are getting bombarded by other campaigns as well. I do try to leave a message when I can. I am also very cordial about it making sure not to speak ill of any other candidates and only bringing out the good points about voting for Mr. Edwards. I sure hope some of them got that message.
