Obama won Iowa and Nevada and they tied in New Hampshire.

Dem's the facts!

17. OK - a delegate toward the count that will award the extra delegate - I stand corrected
Indeed only 9 delegates were "won" and no one talks about that split - the others are awarded in the spring by those elected delegates plus there are the delegates going to Denver as super delegates - I think I have that correct

20. Actually it had no impact as you moved up the hierarcht to the District level
asi I understand it.

The Distict was alreadly locked in terms of how ultimate delegate strenght was calculated.

12. It is proportional delagation based on Congressional districts.
The state Democratic Parties voted on the rules.. The DNC approved them...

13. Delegate count would take into account superdelegates.
If you mean delegates won, at this points its a 2 delegate lead (looking at less than 40 total delegates) with what 2000 delegates from voting yet to be decided.

The only relevant fact is they are in a tight race with Super Tuesday coming up.
