1. once they pick an image for someone (Edwards/hair) nothing else is allowed in
we never hear about policies and issuesw on the networks, just the kindergarten level stuff. They ought to be ashamed.

3. The whole interview was lightweight, but it did show Edwards' sense of humor and
quick wit. I remember Gore being on Letterman after the 2000 election mess was all over and done with, and he was so relaxed and happy and fun, that if he had acted that way before the election, more people would have voted for him. Same for Bob Dole in 1996. Both of those appearances came too late to matter. Edwards was very smart to make this type of lighthearted appearance BEFORE the election, because it makes him more likeable and therefore more "electable."

2. A couple of years ago I really didn't like that man...damn, now...
He's such a breath of fresh air! Please, John, hang on...fight it out. We can't let the media decide this race for us!

4. He IS a breath of fresh air. And damn funny, too! That was a delightful segment.
He and Dave were working the jokes!

6. That shows what a great sense of humor John has.
And he needs it considering the mistreatment he's getting from the corporate M$M.

7. The appearance was good, the timing was good
I just hope a lot of people watched it. He came off as very charming and funny, he made fun of his own accent (nice preemptive touch) and he used the bickering to his advantage. I thought it was great. I hope Edwards gets a bump in the polls.
