Randi Rhodes smacking down on Hillary
She thinks they are disgusting and they need "to cut the crap".

Randi played some clips with Hillary yakking that Obama being "frustrated" from Keith O's show. She's saying that the Clintons are "tough", but is saying that Hillary's faux-assessment about the Reagan quote is not productive.

She is saying that Edwards watching the "wrestling match" might come put ahead.

was coming from. Thanks for straightening that out! :hi:

14. In what way is she "as bad as DU"?
And does your broad brush opinion that DU is "bad" include all DUers or just the few dozen fanboys and fangirls here that make GD:P so ugly?

It's pretty offensive because I've been on DU since almost day one and have never trashed anyone else's candidate, yet according to you I'm as bad as the MSM. That's bullshit.

It also sounds like you turned off Randi's show because she has opinions you don't agree with. That's certainly your choice, but equating her with the trolls on DU and the MSM is just wrong. If you don't know why, you must not have listened to her show very much.

don't listen to her to begin with and know of no one who still does. Randi's a non-issue to most Democrats.

19. I wouldn't. I am uncomitted and it's wrong for Air America to favor any candidate
in the primary. I tuned off Hartman when he started to advocate for Edwards. And I would be bored to death to hear Hillary campaign literature too.
However, with all MSM pushing for Obama, Air America joining in - it's a bit scary.

28. No, it's not wrong for anyone to favor any candidate
You don't give up your right to your own opinion when you become a radio host. This isn't the Soviet Union (yet) for fuck's sake.

I really can't believe what I'm hearing in this thread.

7. A lot of Air America is coming down on Clinton.
Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, Rhandi.

They act like they have an ax to grind. I just hate seeing the Dems go at each other so much. I'm looking forward to having a nominee.

17. A lot of Americans are too.
What I'm reading here is that our progressive hosts aren't allowed to have their own opinions. That just makes me sad.

20. Is that why the Hillbots are calling all the radio shows with their talking points now?
Edited on Wed Jan-23-08 04:54 PM by Kucinich4America
I've heard such obviously scripted phone calls for the last week or so on Stephanie's show, on Thom Hartmann's, and an especially ridiculous one on Schultz today, which almost had Fat Eddie ready to lose his temper. They sound just like the Hillbot posts here. Probably the same people. Haven't heard Randy lately, because she's not on at a time I can listen to her around here, but I'm sure she's getting the calls as well.

I wonder if Mark Green had a falling out with the Clintons. Yup. i remember now, The AG race - the Clintons supported Andrew Cuomo. this is payback.

30. Thom Hartmann is the only one that's really handling it
in a mature way - he'll admit to a slight partisan leaning toward John Edwards, but is always quick to follow with the declaration that both Hillary and Obama have the potential to be great Presidents!

walked into a voting booth today she MIGHT vote for Edwards after the debate and the following brouhaha.

18. I hope someone comes out ahead
I think all of the back and forth sniping is bringing the party down. The level of mud and accusations reminds me of what goes on between a married couple that has reached the point of no return in a divorce. And people trashing Randi Rhodes just because she dares to criticize one of the candidates is a case in point. It's as though the supporters of the candidates have left the Democratic party and formed parties of their own. Randi Rhodes has been an outstanding voice on the left, against Bush policies and the war. She's been one of the most well-informed people on radio. She should not be the subject of vilification for the mere fact she offers her honest opinion.

27. She's pathetic...so I guess when Obama was calling Hilary
frustrated prior to Iowa, saying it was because her campaign was failing, that was fine.

Randi--Rush--if the two of them are just gonna spin lies and hypocrisy, what does it matter if one's a liberal and the other is a repuke. Please explain to me how hypocrisy is ok when it comes from our side.

if you want to see juvenile, check out her message board. I swear those people are barely literate. I gave up on her three years ago, when she bought into her own greatness.
