Poll question: What Is The Most Overused Political Slogan Of The 2008 Campaign
Edited on Wed Jan-23-08 05:28 PM by Magic Rat
Which statement lends itself best to a drinking game because it's used so often that it, itself, becomes almost comedic in it's overuse?

1. The word "change". No, not really a slogan
but the most overused word on BOTH sides of the ticket.

2. As much as I like John, he probably wins this one, simply because he's been using it the longest.

11. His is also the only one that is factually indisputable.
There are questions as to whether tenure as a first lady counts as experience, and to some Obama represents the politics of absolute despair.

Ya can't really argue with Edwards' statement.

19. Yes, to some. Obama's statement is disputable.
Edwards' father working in a mill is a statement of fact. The other two are disputable.

10. Change, Hope
Almost every single candidate has used those words once or twice in a campaign.

16. I Vote For "Ready on Day 1"
A beautifully meaningless phrase which recalls all the best slogans to come out of the 2004 campaign.
