MY endorsement. time to make a stand
so far i have not picked a candidate. however, i think its time to pick barack obama. i beleive he can unite the various factions of the dem party and i think he can win independents and even some reps. having said this, i will not engage in any bashing of hillary clinton. she is a great candidate an i will vote for her if nominated.

16. Yes, his chances are not good right now.
That is why he needs every vote he can get.

I already gave him mine because I know deep in my heart that he is the best person to get us out of the depths that Bush/Cheney have gotten us into.

23. Even if it is a 2 person race, vote for someone that is behind the message you want now!

This isn't the general election, where states are "winner take all". Edwards is picking up delegates in each of these states even though he loses, and even if they aren't close to a winning amount of delegates.

If you feel that the top two candidates aren't really listening to you, but the third person (who might make the difference between either one of them getting the required majority (and not a plurality which doesn't get the nomination), then you owe it to yourself to vote for the third person. That way, that person can help speak for you before those delegates get either shifted to one of those top two candidates or perhaps even force a third party to be brought in instead (might we say "Al Gore"?!!). If Obama is forced to be more clear on having progressive stances that he will work for and not be as nebulous as he's been so far, then we will have won a major battle for us to force a mandate of REAL change that we want on Washington. I'm all for working within a democratic system where one needs to negotiate things, but you still need to speak for what your side really wants before you "compromise", otherwise you're doomed to always ceding what the other side really wants and getting nothing back, in the interests of "going along to get along".

We've lived for two long in a setup in Washington where we've done this kind of "compromise", when the other side has really dictated what's been done and haven't been compromising much at all of what they want. That has to end now in this time of "change" that Americans want.

That's why it's important to vote for someone like Edwards, if he really represents your beliefs with his agenda more than Obama or Hillary do, and force this negotiation between them and Edwards when the convention comes. Only good can happen out of it.

Okay, let's see here:

Helmet...yep, check, there ya go.

Bullet-proof vest....take this.

Flame-retardant jumper...very important...here.

Okay, you said that you don't want to go on the offensive, but keep this handy just in case you're attacked.

All right, I think you're all-suited up and prepared to face DU as an Obama supporter. Good luck and don't hesitate to call for backup if you need it! :hi:
