Edwards economic plan similar to FDR...need to go a litte further
FDR, quickly started a jobs program to try to help stop the Great Depression, he started the WPA a work program for men rebuilding the infrastructure. He set up sewing rooms giving work to women and clothing the people of the United States... I remember these men building I think it was 40 or 48 highway thought Fayette County Georgia, I also remember a sewing room set up in Brooks,Georgia it was in an old hotel, wooden looked like a group of rooms cluttered together now very high. My aunt was over this particular one. I remember just reg sewing machines with local women doing the work, I remember seeing for the first time cloth cut in great stacks, I can also remember that there were at least colors of the cloth for women and children's clothes. Pink and Blue, could have been more but I can't remember more, the print on the cloths I remember had a tulip , sort of like the wooden tulips a few years back.

Edwards, is right we do need jobs, but we need a rebate to start this economy moving NOW. He stated he could have the jobs in 6 months.

1. Remember this, Georgia was a solid Dem. state
Some would say Reagan turned the state red, but I beg to argue the point, Barry Goldwater was writing thing that showed up in the Atlanta papers, in my opinion it was Goldwater that turned the state red..but who is to say it want turn Carolina Blue shortly. I haven't been in the state for more than 60 years, but deep down I know the Georgia Crackers well.
