http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/1/22/191351/318/22/441358

In 2006, Senator Barack Obama did more than any other candidate running for President to elect Democrats and win back majorities the United States Senate and House of Representatives. In 2006, Senator Barack Obama embodied the 50 State Strategy. (And...he...still...does....today.)

I'm not an Obama fan, gawd knows. But there comes a point when this crap just gets to be too much. It's a bash-fest these days and someone badly needs to call a time out.

Back away from the keyboard and go stand in the corner until you've had a chance to think about what you're doing.

11. Get Dems elected.
Bill Clinton and Barack Obama are the most requested guests for fundraisers Dem fundraisers across the country.

I'd also suggest that Barack Obama has renewed interest among voters previously cynical about politics in this nation, and opened up new voters and independent voters to Democratic ideals.

stand-up on their feet while being schmoozed by K Street lobbyists who must also be standing up on their feet. BO MUST be trying to prove that NO ONE is sitting down on the 'job'. This is definitely the kind of legislation that will turn this country around.........into a tailspin!

37. I don't really care...
The presidency isn't something you earn by doing the most things for the country and the party. It's something you win by convincing people that you are the best candidate for the job.

Nobody is entitled to the presidency because of things that they have done in the past.

BTW, I'm sure that there will be others along to refute your premise.

47. NOT a F*cking Thing!

Gateway Pundit has the video.

In the best part of Obama's The Audacity of Hope, Obama, with some reservations, pours even more praise on our 40th president.

That Reagan's message found such a receptive audience spoke not only to his skills as a communicator; it also spoke to the failures of liberal government, during a

period of economic stagnation, to give middle-class voters any sense that it was fighting for them. For the fact was that government at every level had become too

cavalier about spending taxpayer money. Too often, bureacracies were oblivious to the cost of their mandates. A lot of liberal rhetoric did seem to value rights and

values over duties and responsibilities.

(Obama then veers off this brilliant thought pattern and digs a bit into Reagan's legacy.)

Audacity of Hope peaks early. The above passage appears on page 31.
