Not to throw cold water on these "polls" but remember in Nevada there was a poll a few days before the caucus that had Edwards only a few points behind Clinton. He ended up with less than 4%.

1. Having seen her campaign in action, it wouldn't surprise me if she wins it.
And I don't mean that in a good way. :(

12. If she won it Obama would be done.
I don't see that happening, however. I expect the race to go on quite awhile with the delegate count going up and up and up until we have a nice brokered convention that will tear the party apart.

Yeah typical Clintonite behavior, you want to kneecap whoever is in the way.

2. Hillary was supposed to win big in NV.
She only won by 6%, and Obama got more delegates anyway. Ain't that beautiful, dear Herman?

5. all this does is lower expectaions for Hillary even lower than they already were
now second place is a victory, it's kind of funny how devalued this south carolina primary will be.

Considering she stopped campaigning there, I'd say that's exactly her intent.

Bill Clinton will be seen as a failure of a surrogate.

13. No need to feel sorry.
I support Obama. If I win, I'll be here celebrating. If he loses, I'll be here rooting for the Democratic nominee.

Let's hope your premise is wrong, though... :)

3. The last two polls in NV showed Edwards with 14% and 12%. In a caucus system, Edwards would get 4%.
South Carolina is a primary for one thing. The other thing is that Edwards above 20% there on Wednesday only.

Zogby pretty much nailed Nevada actually.

She does have a penchant for the collapse.

And Obama has to win by at LEAST 10% over her. Anything less will be an expectations victory for Hillary.

10. hillary's support isn't what's collapsing though
Obama lost 3 points in one day. If this trend continues, his win may only be in the single digits or it'll be a 3 way muddle.

Black vote. Then everyone will say that SC was solely due to race which would not be good for the country.

I would be happier if he won with more male votes and a more racially diverse mix than if he whomps by 30%.

15. I'll always be around
But if Hillary doesn't win the nomination, I'm sure I'll be less enthused and will post less. Obama will get my vote and nothing more. But I'm a democrat and I support the nominee even if I don't like them. There is no alternative as far as I'm concerned.

It's not the end of the world or the campaign to lose SC. They are going to vote Republican in the GE anyway.

24. I wouldn't say I'm dancing on her grave.
The new polls showing Edwards ahead does give people something to talk about. Doing a little predicting.

Others may be dancing on graves, I'm just having fun.

and remember that NV was a caucus, so if John wasn't viable at a caucus site, supporters may move to their second choice. And that John is a native of SC. He'll do better there than NV.
