They want to run against her, because they know the machine has been planning a run against her for a decade and more.

It can't hurt Clinton among hardcore Democratic primary voters to watch Republicans beat up on her, and itch for the fight against them. I think the debate tonight is our best evidence yet that it's Hillary they want in November.

173. This Debate is easy to sum up....
Rudy has already conceded, just not announced it yet.

McCain is asking Rudy for his endorsement, providing public cover for hits he took tonight.

Huckabee is still trying to find a winning formula --now running hard on a populist message.

Romney was all over the place in answering questions, refused to reveal how much $ he has spent on his own campaign, and basically danced all around the questions. Never pinned down.

Paul was Paul.


It was a win for Romney, and a step backward by McCain. Huckabee falls further behind.
