Romney during debate: 'I don’t care about the voters'
I was flabbergasted that nobody on the post debate on msnbc mentioned that eye popping gaffe by Romney... Whatever money mccain has left he needs to get this in an ad.

I only see one story on google news mention it. freepers pulled a thread about it.

Pressed by Russert that voters may want to know how much of his own money he has spent, Romney failed to emphasize the strategic reasons for refusing to divulge his finances, telling Russert that, “I don’t care about the voters, I care about the people up here on this stage.”

4. Somebody better video capture that...
If McCain doesn't use it, our side might yet get the chance.

5. yeah
no matter the context, john kerry proved in '04 with one gaffe like that - not even nearly as bad - it could be repeated a million times over for huge dividends.

6. Now that is a sickening gaffe.
But I'm not surprised. He reminds me of a creepy undertaker.

7. The actual line was: "I'm not too concerned about the voters",...
..."I'm more concerned about the other people on this stage".

What an idiot! What a great ad that will make for McCain.

Buh-Bye, Mittens!}(

9. Yeah, those dumb ol' voters
They don't care how much of his own money Romney has sunk into his own campaign. After all, he can just use the same strategy should he plunge the country even deeper into debt. Right, Mittens? You'll just whip out the ol' checkbook and pen a 12-figure script?
