Poll question: PRO and ANTI Clintonites, UNITE!
Edited on Fri Jan-25-08 10:59 AM by CorpGovActivist
HRC supporters, are you reading the responses in the http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4194415&mesg_id=4194415">opposers' poll?

HRC opposers, are you reading the responses in the http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=4188794&mesg_id=4188794">supporters' poll?

In order to be understood, it is often helpful first to seek to understand.

Best to all,

- Dave

P.S. On edit: Note the start times of the respective polls, and then look at the number of respondents in each.

1. I don't care.
I made up my mind 25 years ago that I would NEVER vote for HRC. I'm not about to change my mind now.

9. Huh?
She had no apparent political ambitions 25 years ago. Nobody except those in Arkansas had even heard of her!

11. You are half right
She had abundant political ambition in the 80's. And practically everybody in Arkansas had heard of her.

10. So you're going to vote for a repug, if it boils down to it. That's sort of Nader behaviour
got us in the Bush mess to begin with.

12. You are dead wrong
I have never voted for a Republican in my life, and I will not start now.

I currently live in Texas where my vote will not count. The Dems will concede Texas to the Republicans, so it doesn't matter who I vote for.

You shouldn't be so eager to jump to erroneous conclusions.

13. No, what got us into this mess was electing Democrats who have enabled bush
to do whatever he wants

17. I agree, I wouldn't vote for Hillary either. Still, I am learning a great deal from her advocates.
There's something to learn from everyone, even if it's only about me.

4. I have my reasons and nothing I am reading disproves them.
We are essentially down to two candidates. (My apologies to John Edwards.) One of them can handle the job, the other is an amateur with a nice speaking voice. Maybe Obama would be better after a full Senate term. Right now, he's not ripe.

15. Other.
I'm reading the other side's responses, and learning nothing new about HRC.

I respect HRC supporter's right to make their own choice, based on their own reasons, even if I believe that their choice is wrong and their reasons are specious.

I haven't seen anything in there to convince me otherwise.
