Florida, Gore-ida, Endorse-ida

How rich would the poignance, salience, and significance be if President Gore were to endorse Edwards in Florida on Tuesday, when the sort-of-primary takes place?

P.S. I have no doubt that Gore has a "maximum impact" idea up his sleeve, and he's really gotten the hang of hitting his marks on stage.

1. 'Twould be indeed bel lovely ! I've thought of this myself just the other night in fact.

A Gore endorsement for John Edwards now- before FL and before Super Tuesday and before SC would be a great thing. But I keep wondering if he's waiting to see if he gets drafted in Colorado (which we all wish would happen) or if he's thinking for the sake of the party, to keep quiet for now.

3. Sorry, I think it's a complete fantasy to look to a Gore endorsement

It seems he's withdrawn pretty completely from the political arena, and furthermore, I don't see how anyone can assume that he favors of Edwards. I'm not sure he favors any of them.
