On Political dynasties......
how many who are whining about a Clinton dynasty would deny that they would have voted for Bobby Kennedy? Or would have voted for John F. Kennedy, Jr? Or would vote for Robert Kennedy, Jr.?

Are dynasties only allowed for some families and not others?

1. The Clinton dynasty is only a valid point when the Bush's are noted as one too
However, many people are getting tired of this "its our turn" famly BS thats run our country since 1988.

Arent you?

2. The word "dynasty" is bullshit applied to anything but a monarchy
Political families aren't dynasties.

4. How about since 1797?

That's when John Adams became President.

3. You presume--incorrectly--that we're opposed in general to family members running.
If I felt Hillary was of the same caliber as RFK, then I MIGHT consider voting for her. For me, one must be a truly special/remarkable candidate in order to overcome the familial connection (in other words, the family connection bit is a negative even for an RFK). And for me, Hillary is not that candidate.

5. If you aren't the ones complaining
about dynasties then this doesn't apply to you.

6. I saw another thread that responded to the Bush/Clinton/Bush/Clinton
dynasty bullshit as

failure/success/failure/success

and while I am not currently supporting Senator Clinton, I think it would be better for all democrats if we contrast failure and success rather than surnames and marital names.
